Company to Invest $82 Million in Regional Office at Searcy

SEARCY, AR - BJ Services Company announced today it will open a new regional headquarters in Searcy to accomodate companies drilling for natural gas in the underground Fayetteville Shale formation.

The Houston-based company provides pumping, pipeline, chemical, and well completion services.  The company will invest about $82 million in the regional headquarters on 40 acres in the central Arkansas city, and employ about 150 people by late 2008.  Governor Beebe says the company's high-paying jobs will help expand the state's economic base.
