Glasfiber Temp Plant Turns Out First Little Rock Blade

LITTLE ROCK, AR - LM Glasfiber today showed off the first windmill blade it produced at a temporary facility in Little Rock.  The company will build a $150 million factory to produce the windmill blades and is operating at a temporary site.

The company has hired 190 workers at the temporary plant, and they will move to the new factory once it is complete.  The Denmark-based company has one other U.S. location, in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

LM Glasfiber says it has orders for more than 1,000 blades.  The blades are used in wind turbines.
