Mitchell Johnson's Roommate Arrested on Drug Charges

BENTONVILLE, AR - A man who, as a boy, fatally shot his father with a crossbow has been arrested on drug charges stemming from his association with convicted Westside Middle School shooter Mitchell Johnson.

Justin W. Trammell, 23, was taken into custody after police say they found marijuana and several small marijuana plants and related paraphernalia at a Bentonville residence where they believe he lived with Johnson.  Benton County jail records listed a Pea Ridge address for Trammell.

Officers searched the Bentonville apartment as part of an investigation into a theft that led to a charge against Johnson last month.  Johnson served a sentence out of juvenile court for the 1998 killings of four students and a teacher at Westside Middle School near Jonesboro.  He was 13 at the time.

Trammell served a sentence, also out of juvenile court, after he admitted to killing his father in 1999 with a crossbow.
