Memphis to Address Violent Crime Tonight in Town Hall Forum

MEMPHIS, TN - A town hall meeting tonight in Memphis is aimed at finding solutions to the city's violent crime.

The forum titled, "Violence in Memphis: Searching for Solutions" will be held at 7 p.m. at the Christian Brothers University Center for Ethical Leadership.

Those in attendance will be able to ask questions of elected and law enforcement officials, community activists, health care professionals and others.

The Commercial Appeal newspaper will stream the meeting live on its Web site,, where viewers can submit questions.
