Commission Upholds Firing of Arkansas Trooper Who Sought Sex Threesome

LITTLE ROCK, AR - The State Police Commission has upheld the dismissal of a trooper who admitted he sought to set up a three-way sex encounter between his wife and two women in a car he stopped for driving with expired tags.

Roderick Trotter, Sr., 46, who was stationed in Pulaski County, was fired in December by Colonel Winford E. Phillips, state police commander.  Phillips testified at a hearing yesterday that his action followed a dismissal recommendation by a review board of state police officers, and, after reviewing for himself the file on internal investigation, he reached the same conclusion.

Trotter can appeal the commission's decision to Pulaski County Circuirt Court, but his lawyer said no decision has been made on an appeal.
