Envisions Owner Fined, License Suspended

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Envisions owner Reginald Prunty has been fined $2,500 and had his license suspended for 90 days by the ABC Board.  The 90 day suspension will be followed by one year of probation.

The comes after 10 incidents were presented to the Alcohol Beverage Control board during a one year period.  Prunty had been cited for failure to be a good neighbor several times, which is a Class B violation. 

Other listed reasons for the fine and suspension include:

  • Alcohol served to a minor and a minor allowed in the club when no food service was present on June 16, 2007.
  • Alcohol served to a minor and a minor allowed in the club when no food service was present.  Also a patron was struck by gunshots, all occurring on February 10, 2008.

Prunty still has a right to a hearing before the ABC Board that may see the charges reduced, dismissed or even increased.  He has until April 3 to file an appeal.
