LITTLE ROCK, AR - Plastic and aluminum recycling bins have been placed at six different locations on the state Capitol grounds. Secretary of State Charlie Daniels says his office was happy to provide the bins, especially in light of higher energy costs and less landfill space. Daniels says recycling makes good sense.
The bins are marked and can be used for plastic or aluminum waste. Daniels' office already has taken steps to reduce energy use by recycling its white paper and replacing most of the Capitols incandescent light bulbs with energy-efficient compact fluorescent and LED bulbs.
