New Economic "Thai"s As Sai Thai Cuisine Opens Doors in Jonesboro

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - You could call it yet another new Jonesboro economic "Thai."  That's because, in a bit of news your stomach will enjoy, a new Oriental cuisine restaurant opens its doors in downtown Jonesboro.

It's called Sai Thai Cuisine and as you might guess, the restaurant brings a taste of the Orient to Region 8 with its Friday opening.  Located on Main Street, the restaurant is just another example of economic growth happening in Jonesboro.

And as for being downtown, the owner says she wouldn't have it any other way.  "I love downtown.   Everywhere we go, we see downtown.   I think there is a romance to it.  It's old.  I just...I just love downtown." said Sai Kattaviravong, owner of Sai Thai Cuisine.

The establishment is open daily for lunch and dinner.  As Region 8 News has been told, this is one of many new restaurants are scheduled to open over the next few months.
