Serial Killer Waives Preliminary Hearing

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO - Timothy Krajcir will appear in court April 14 after waiving his preliminary hearing in the murders of five Cape Girardeau women more than 25 years ago.

He is scheduled to appear for an arraignment before Circuit Judge Benjamin Lewis in Cape Girardeau County Court.  Cape Girardeau Prosecuting Attorney Morley Swingle's office isn't saying whether Krajcir will enter a plea to more than a dozen charges.

Swingle says he may request a special setting for the arraignment to accomodate the victims' family members and the media.
