Shooting Leads to Manhunt in Jonesboro

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - A man is shot at Belt and Calion Streets in Jonesboro and now, police are searching for the shooter.

Around 9:30 p.m. last night, police tell Region 8 News that a man was shot at the intersections of the above streets.  The victim suffered no life threatening injures, however.

"The front door to this apartment was standing open.  A couple of guys was inside, relaxing, talking, believed to be two suspects stepped up into the apartment and shot one of the victims." said Lt. Nathan Oliver of the Jonesboro Police Department.

Police don't have any leads but they say they are interviewing witnesses to get a better grasp of the situation.
