Cape Girardeau Man Pleads Guilty to Child Porn Charges

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KAIT) - A 50-year-old Cape Girardeau man pleaded guilty yesterday to one felony count of producing child pornography.  U.S. District Attorney Catherine Hanaway says Gregory Hohl appeared Wednesday in federal court in Cape Girardeau.

Kohl faces up to 30 years in prison and fines of up to $250,000.

A sentencing hearing is set for May 13.

Kohl admitted to using a Polaroid camera to photograph a minor female, nude, engaging in explicit sexual conduct, in December 2006.  The film was manufactured in Holland, meaning it traveled in and affected interstate and foreign commerce.
