Your Morning

A warm, unstable air will set the stage for scattered showers and storms this afternoon.  There is a possibility for some severe storms too.  Temperatures will be in the mid-70s.  Chris Castleman will have the forecast on Good Morning Region 8.

Pemiscot County authorities are searching for a Caruthersville man after his car is found in the Mississippi River.   35-year old Dary Mcintyre has been missing since this weekend and investigators say his car was found empty, with the keys locked inside.   His family believes he could be dead but right now police are treating this case as a search for a missing person.

The Walnut Ridge Fire Department and Arkansas State Police will be back out at the Hob Nob restaurant later today, investigating what triggered yesterday's enormous fire.   The Hob Nob restaurant has been a local landmark for more than 75 years and about 60 firefighters from Walnut Ridge and the surrounding areas responded to the fire.   Fortunately, no one was injured in the fire.  Alan Haskins, Chief of the Walnut Ridge Fire Department, commented, "The whole thing was out of business.  The wedding center building and also the restaurant were all out of business at the time.   It's under investigation at this time.  We've got the state police coming in to investigate it.  With this much fire and this being a commercial building were going to have them investigate it just to be on the safe side."

They are the new champions of the basketball world.   After beating Memphis 75-68 in overtime in the NCAA title game, the Kansas Jayhawks chalk up another historic win.   It's the first championship since 1988 when Mario Chalmers hit a 3-pointer to push the game into overtime, and went on a 12-3 run to end the game.   Chalmers was named the most outstanding player of the Final Four after finishing with 18 points.
