LITTLE ROCK, AR - Another round of storms moved into Arkansas from the northwest early this morning. Hail and 70 mile-per-hour winds were reported. Water covered Hwy. 65 in St. Joe, and the Viola School District in Fulton County was closed because of high water.
Weather forecasters say the severe weather will possibly include tornadoes. The state is in its third week of flooding and ten tornadoes hit central Arkansas a week ago.
This morning, the National Weather Service issued severe thunderstorm warnings as the storms moved through the state. Flash flood warnings were issued for numerous locales, including Lawrence and Randolph counties in Region 8.
