Your Morning

Temperatures start to climb back up to normal today but we will still be about 10 degrees cooler than we should be (we should be in the 70s for this time of year).  Skies will be mostly sunny today as well, with highs around the mid-60s.  Chris Castleman will have a chance of showers by Friday.  See his forecast on Good Morning Region 8.

If you need a new job, 500-new positions will soon be coming to Jonesboro.   That's because Startek Incorporated, a customer services center, will be opening up shot at the old Price Chopper building on Caraway Road.    The Denver based company will provide services to an undisclosed telecom client.   The company will be hiring customer service representatives, supervisors and managers.  Startek employees answer customer service and support calls for corporations in the wireless, wireline and cable-broadband-satellite business.

Two major donations are made to the City of Highland, which is still recovering from the February 5th tornado.   Hundreds of people gathered where the fire department once stood to cheer on their town, expecting a big name.   While Oprah didn't make an appearance, 100 weather radios were given away to residents of Highland, and $10,000 have been donated from Oprah's Big Give, ABC and KAIT.   The money will go towards building a new fire department.

Arkansas governor Mike Beebe says rising flood waters are severely damaging the state's agricultural business.   While it's unclear just how much damage has been made, Beebe says flood-damaged areas in the state have been especially severe for farmers, who would be getting ready to tend their fields right now.  Since those fields are under water, it may be a while before they can get to work.
