A cold front turn stationary will continue to meander around Region 8 over the next few days. This will keep rain chances in our forecast.  Most of the activity should be isolated in nature today.  However, better rain chances develop after midnight tonight and for Thursday. Temperatures will stay extremely warm.  Highs will be in the 80s this afternoon. 

Jonesboro Police are searching for a man who robbed BancorpSouth on Main and Jefferson streets.   Police say they need your help in identifying the suspect, and urge you to call them if you have any information.   Jonesboro Police say a man walked up to the BancorpSouth bank branch on Main and Jefferson around 2:00 p.m. Tuesday and demanded money from the teller.   Police say the suspect walked inside and handed a note to the teller.   They say the note said he had a gun and wanted money.

Authorities in White County arrest 2 people in Bald Knob.   53-year old Donald Zomant and 40-year old Cynthia Timberlake are charged with possession of meth with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a drug premises.   Zomant is in jail at this time and Timberlake is out on bond.
