Offbeat: Talking Dogs

BRANSON, MO (KAIT)--If you're looking for offbeat entertainment, then a dinner cruise aboard the Showboat Branson Belle is the belle of the ball.  The showboat's headline act features Todd Oliver and his talking dogs.

Oliver and his pups, Lucy, Irving, and Elvis have been entertaining guest aboard the Belle since 1996.  Oliver is a ventriliquist and has been on Jay Leno, David Letterman and many other national television shows.

"One day I looked at my dogs and said, 'hey, I bet you've got a lot to say,'" said Oliver.  "It's not your typical ventriliquist act, instead of dummies, I use real live dogs.  I love Branson and performing on the Belle has been the highlight of my career."

Besides Oliver and his talking dogs, the Branson Belle features a fantastic meal, plus show tunes and your favorite songs performed by "The ShowStoppers."  There is also a dramatic acrobatic dance, husband and wife, performance.

For information about how to book a dinner crusie aboard the Showboat Branson Belle just go to www.showboatbransonbelle.com.
