Brady Completes ASU Men's Basketball Coaching Staff

ARKANSAS STATE UNIVERSITY (KAIT) - Arkansas State University head men's basketball coach John Brady announced this morning that he has completed his coaching staff.

Brady announced that the associate head coach position would be held by Chad Dollar, and also named Elwyn McRoy and Jeff Clapacs as assistant coaches.

Dollar comes to A-State with a variety of coaching experience.  He spent one season (2007-08) at LSU and prior to that, coached at Murray State.  He has also spent time at Georgia Southern, Eastern Kentucky, Western Carolina, Southern Mississippi and Gardner-Webb.

"I was fortunate to be able to attract a coach and person of his quality," said Brady, in reference to Dollar.

McRoy and Clapacs also join Dollar at A-State with a long list of accomplishments.  McRoy most recently spent the last two seasons as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Georgia Southern, helping them to a 20-12 record for this past season.  Clapacs spent the 2007-08 season at LSU as the Director of Basketball Operations and Video Coordinator, overseeing all areas of film, public relations, assisting with travel and a variety of other duties.
