JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Nearly 31 percent of Craighead County residents rate "the severity" of mosquitoes around their home as "severe." That's according to the results of a new quality of life survey conducted by the Center for Social Research at Arkansas State University.
According to the newly-released results, "Most residents of Craighead County agree that mosquitoes present one of, if not the, most annoying nuisances and impediments to living a full outdoor lifestyle. Findings from the survey bolster this contention." To be exact, 30.8 percent of responding Craighead Countians listed mosquitoes as "severe" at their homes. Sixteen-point-seven percent responded with "slight," while 29.8 percent said "moderate" and 18.8 percent said "bad."
