Blytheville Bank Robbery, Suspect Apprehended

BLYTHEVILLE, AR (KAIT) - Region 8 News has learned of a bank robbery in Blytheville that ended almost as quickly as it began.

The call came in at about 12:30 p.m. when a 24-year old black male suspect allegedly brandished a knife and demanded money at the Farmers Bank and Trust on Broadway and Main Street in downtown Blytheville.

The suspect, identified as Marzues Scott of Blytheville, allegedly fled from the bank on foot but was chased down by Blytheville Police Department and apprehended about 5 blocks from the bank.
