Kennett Woman's Death Ruled Homicide; Arrest Made

KENNETT, MO - A 47-year-old southeast Missouri woman's death is ruled a homicide.

Dunklin County coroner Jack Adkins issued the ruling this week in the death of Jacqueline Harrell Farmer of Kennett.  Relatives found her body on Sunday at her home.

Dunklin County Prosecutor Stephen Sokoloff this morning filed charges first degree murder charges and armed criminal action against 68-year-old Cleveland Pulliam of Kennett.  Sokoloff praised the work of the Dunklin Co. Major Case Squad, Kennett PD, Dunklin Co. Sheriff's Dept., and the Missouri Hwy. Patrol's Division of Drug and Crime control "for their intense and dilligent efforts in a successful investigation of this murder."  Sokoloff added, "These officers have done a phenominal job, working tirelessly to bring this case to a point where charges could be filed."

Pulliam held without bond.
