Early Voting Underway Today at New Location in Jonesboro

JONESBORO, AR - Early voting in Craighead County begins today, but not at the usual courthouse location this time for voters in Jonesboro and the county's western district.

According to County Clerk Nancy Nelms, early voters can cast their ballots at a new facility at 315 West Jefferson Avenue, as early voting will not be allowed at the courthouse this spring.

Voters in the eastern district will still be able to vote at the courthouse in Lake City.

Early voting hours are from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.  The early voting period will end at 5 p.m. on May 19.  The general primary election is set for May 20.
