BLYTHEVILLE, AR - A man charged with capital murder and aggravated robbery has been acquitted.
Jerry Lee Falcon, 26, was found not guilty by a Mississippi County jury in the Sept. 7 death of 27-year-old Bobby Shane Pilgrim.
During testimony, Pilgrim's girlfriend said several men entered the home and Falcon pinned Pilgrim against a wall and demanded money. She said she did not see Falcon with a gun, however.
During closing arguments, Falcon's attorney said that just because his client was at the house did not mean he was guilty.
Prosecutor Curtis Walker, Jr. questioned why Falcon originally denied being at Pilgrim's house when police arrested him.
