Night Ranger, Blue Grass Legend Ralph Stanley Among Performers at Water Carnival

BATESVILLE, AR - Bluegrass legend Ralph Stanley and 80s rock & roll icons Night Ranger are among the musical entertainers at the 65th Annual White River Water Carnival next month in Batesville.  Other entertainers for the two-day event (Aug. 1 & 2) include Earl Thomas Conley and Ashton Shepherd.

Stanley and the Clinch Mountain Boys will open for Conley.  The Virginia native is well-known for his rich bluegrass voice and banjo playing style, and was inducted into the International Blue Grass Hall of Fame in 1992.  He is also a member of the Grand Ole Opry, and won a Grammy Award in 2002 for his rendition of the Appalachian dirge, O Death, from the 'Oh Brother Where Art Thou' soundtrack.
