Autism Case Gets Its' Day in Court

PORTLAND, OR (KAIT) - The family of the two boys who supposedly contracted autism because of the drug thimerosal are going to be in court Monday.

The drug was given to the boys and they soon after were diagnosed with autism. It is stated that the drug triggered the autism in the boys.

The court case on Monday will raise the question of whether the thimerosal was the exact cause of the autism.

The family seeks financial repress and vindication from the lawsuit.

Recently, thimerosal was removed from all children's vaccines except the flu vaccine. Reports state that the flu vaccine is only in limited supply.
