Little Rock Police Arrest Suspect in Shooting of 6-Year-Old

LITTLE ROCK, AR - Police say they've arrested another man suspected of taking part in the shooting death of a 6-year-old girl late last year.

Little Rock police say they arrested 20-year-old Ricky Smith yesterday.  Officers say Smith will be charged with capital murder in the Dec. 5 shooting of Kamya Weathersby.

Police say Smith is the half-brother of 18-year-old Kevin Banks, previously arrested on suspicion of taking part in the shooting.  Officers say they continue to search for 21-year-old Marqus Smith, a third suspect in Kamya's death.

Detectives believe at least two gunmen walked outside the home where Kamya lived, firing about 50 rounds into the home with assault rifles.  Kamya was shot as she lay in bed, watching cartoons with her 4-year-old sister.
