Red Cross Launches "Rock & Roll Up Your Sleeves" Drive

JONESBORO, AR - Whether you rock around the clock or just love to rock & roll all night, the American Red Cross wants you to "Rock & Roll Up Your Sleeves" this summer and donate blood.  Now through the end of June, at Red Cross blood donor centers and select blood drives, donors can receive a special "rocker-style" T-shirt (while supplies last) and the opportunity to win an authentic Lynyrd Skynyrd platinum album.

The need for blood is especially high during the summer due to an increase in travel because of family vacations and school breaks.

Beginning in June, the Red Cross will launch a series of more than 75 blood drives across the state, including eight in the Jonesboro area.  They include...

-Ridgecrest Health & Rehab, Hwy. 141 North, 6/3, 12:30-4 p.m. & 6/13, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

-St. Bernard's Auditorium, 505 E. Washington, 6/12, 2-7 p.m.

-Clopton Clinic, 800 S. Church St., 6/13, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
