Indiana Jones Makes it Big in the Box Office

HOLLYWOOD, CA (KAIT) - Making over $126 million this weekend, the new Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull opened Memorial Day weekend with the second biggest ratings.

The third Pirates of the Caribbean movie debuted this time last year beating the rating of the Jones movie by only a margin.

For a movie that debuted 19 years after its' earlier installment, Indiana Jones did quite well.

This is the fourth Indiana Jones movie made.

Behind the Jones in the box office was the second Chronicles of Narnia movie then Iron Man.

Indiana Jones is expected to overall make around $151 million over the next five days.
