School Bus Driver Pleads Guilty to DWI Charge

LITTLE ROCK, AR - A Cabot school bus driver has pleaded guilty to a driving while intoxicated charge in Pulaski County.  Robin G. Clark was sentenced yesterday to 90 days of community service at the Pulaski County Jail, and assessed a total of $1,305 in fines and court costs.  Little Rock Traffic Judge Vic Fleming also ordered Clark to undergo alcohol-rehabilitation treatment.

Authorities said Clark was arrested October 26 when she arrived at a Little Rock high school to pick up Cabot students who were attending a debate tournament there.  Police said some drivers and other officers noticed a driver was behaving erratically before students boarded the bus.  Police arrived and conducted a field sobriety test and arrested Clark.  Police said her blood-alcohol level tested at 0.073 percent, over the legal limit of 0.04 percent for people with commercial driver's licenses.
