POINSETT COUNTY (KAIT) - An overturned tanker truck in Poinsett County is forcing one lane of traffic on Highway 63 northbound to be shut down.

The accident occurred near Marked Tree.  Some diesel and gasoline were spilled on the scene.  The truck was carrying about 5,500 gallons of fuel.

Another tanker is in the process of offloading the rest of the fuel that has not already leaked.  Hazmat is taking care of the cleanup for what was spilled.

The driver of the truck is 44-year-old Billy Hefner.  His condition is unknown at this time, but he was airlifted to the Med in Memphis.  Hefner is driving for Penn Transport.

Arkansas State Police as well as the Poinsett County sheriff's department and local officials are working the scene.
