JPD Says Heroin Hydrochloride Linked To String Of Overdoses

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -- Police say a drug used in a series of overdoses in Jonesboro turned out to be heroin hydrochloride.

Police say they believe that is what at least five victims ingested sending them to the hospital with symptoms of an overdose earlier in the week.

Police say three of the victims remain hospitalized as of Thursday night.

Police say at this point no arrests have been made in this case, and no charges have been filed.
