White County: Seven Drug Arrests in Five Days

SEARCY, AR (KAIT) - The Searcy Police Department, Central Arkansas Drug Task Force, and the White County Sheriff's Dept. arrested seven individuals during a five-day span since July 3 on drug-related charges.

On July 3, the trio of agencies arrested 28-year-old Hope Smith and 38-year-old Jerry Sarrels, both of Searcy, for possession of drug paraphernalia.

On July 6, the Searcy PD and Central Ark. Drug Task Force arrested 41-year-old Rose Mary Stevens of Bald Knob, for conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamines.  Her bond has been set at $30,000.

On July 8, authorities arrested 42-year-old Lisa Hollingsworth, 38-year-old Tammie White, 37-year-old Detrick Eason, and 18-year-old Mark Perry, all of Searcy.  Hollingworth, Eason and White are charged with maintaining a drug premises, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession of firearms by certain persons, use of a communication facility, and maintaining a drug premises within proximity to certain facilities.  Bond was set at $50,000 each.  Perry was charged with possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
