YELLVILLE, AR - Authorities say they've found the body of a 21-year-old Yellville man who drowned in Crooked Creek over the weekend.
Police say divers recovered the body of Joshua Zieammermann on Monday. Zieammermann was with friends Sunday when he fell into the creek while crossing a low-water bridge. Authorities say Ziemmermann was swimming and fishing with friends at the time.
Friends and family say Ziemmermann swam in Crooked Creek regularly. But Henry Campfield with the Marion County Sheriff's Office says heavy rains caused a fast current and high water level in the creek, making it dangerous for swimmers.
