NEWPORT BEACH, CA (KAIT) - TMZ.com is reporting that Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, 30, of UFC fame was arrested late yesterday for felony hit & run and felony evading arrest after a car crash near Newport Beach.
The strangest part of this story may be that the truck Jackson allegedly tried to get away in had his picture on the side of it!
Cops weren't very amused. They had guns drawn when he finally stopped. Police say he may face additional charges.
Jackson lost the UFC Light Heavyweight championship at UFC 86 by unanimous decision. His record is 28-7 and is ranked as one of the best light heavyweight fighters in the world.
He won the title from famous UFC fighter, Chuck Liddell, earlier this year.
"Rampage" is originally from Memphis, Tennessee.
