Homicide Investigation Continues

Authorities in Independence Co. arrest Michael Doerhoff and Irene Hunt of Bradford and charge them with public intoxication and disorderly contact.

Deadly Crash in Missouri

A behind-the-wheel domestic dispute ends in a deadly crash.

Missouri State Police say a Kennett man stabbed his wife as she drove on Highway 53 near Campbell.

When she pulled over, witnesses saw them fighting in a bean field and called police.

Her husband then jumped in the car and drove off.

Less than a mile later, he crashed head-on with an 18 wheeler and was killed.

His wife was airlifted to a Cape Girardeau hospital.

Rector Annexation a No-Go

The City Council of Rector has dropped it's proposed plan to annex 50 houses that are currently outside the city limits.
