Jonesboro Firm Named One of Nation's Fastest-Growing Companies

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - A Jonesboro company, Tiger Correctional Services, has been named to Inc. Magazine annual list of fastest-growing companies in America, ranking at #3,741.  While this is down from the company's 2007 listing at #2,819, it was one of only six companies in Arkansas to be named to the list two years in-a-row.

Government Services is one of the hottest industries for fast-growing businesses, increasing by 220% in the last year.  Growth in government services is supported by the fact that jails and prisons have increasingly been looking to outsourcing in order to cut costs.  Tiger offers food services, commisary services and jail management software.  The company is located just south of the Jonesboro city limits, at 176 County Road 406, off Highway 1.
