Embattled UCA President Calls it Quits

CONWAY, AR - Calling his career at the University of Central Arkansas "the love of my life," Lu Hardin says he'll step down next month as president.

Hardin, plagued in recent months by a $300,000 bonus he received after a secret vote by UCA's Board of Trustees, announced his resignation today after the board met in executive session.

"The love of my life other than my children and my wonderful wife Mary has been leading this extraordinary university," Hardin said.
