Police Say Russellville Man Beaten with Chair, Broom...and Frying Pan

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Police say a disagreement led to a man being beaten with a lawn chair, broomstick and a frying pan.

Fifty-one-year-old Ronald Tucker suffered injuries to his face.

Two 19-year-olds were charged. Brandon J. Peoples was being held on suspicion of aggravated assault and Winston C. Seals Jr. was suspected of being an accomplice. Bond was set at $50,000 pending a September 22nd court appearance.

According to police, a witness said Tucker "had said something to Brandon that Brandon did not like and that Brandon had called them over to take care of Tucker."
