Two Suspects Charged in Last Week's Jonesboro Shooting Death

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Two men suspected in last week's shooting death of 30-year-old Patrick Colquitt have been formally charged in the man's death.

27-year-old Cornelius Smith and 19-year-old Jason White were in court for a probable cause hearing Friday morning.

Smith's bond is set at $500,000 for the felony charges of aggravated robbery and first degree murder.

White is charged with capital murder, aggravated robbery and a separate charge of failure to appear.

White is being held without bond for the charges in this case.

Colquitt was shot August 26 in the backyard of a Jonesboro residence on Broadmoor.

Police are still searching for Harrell Rothwell, Junior. Police say he should be considered dangerous. If you have information of his whereabouts, call Crimestoppers anonymously at 935-STOP.
