Big Crowd For NEA District Fair's First Day

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT)  From cotton candy to caramel apples to fun rides and great exhibits....The Northeast Arkansas District Fair  has something for everyone.

"It's like, oh it's so good, but you know what, it's the grown ups that come out here for the cotton candy too," said Myra Roesch.

For a fair veteran like Myra Roesch, she sells a lot of cotton candy.....

"I ate so much of it when I was younger, I don't eat it anymore," said Roesch.

She has her eye on another fair food favorite....

"I'll eat a caramel apple though," said Roesch.

It's the rides at the fair that always seem to attract a long line of strong stomach teenagers.

If the rides or the food don't get your attention, head inside where dozens of Northeast Arkansas businesses and organizations show off what they have to offer.

If you didn't make it out on the fair's first night...don't worry, the fair is in town all week.
