THAYER, MO (KAIT) - Warmac Films executive producer Warren McCullough today announced his company's plans to shoot scenes for a new feature-length film in Thayer, Missouri and Mammoth Spring and Salem, Arkansas.
A 1997 graduate of Thayer High School, McCullough has written the screenplay for a dramatic thriller about a fictional town with a mysterious past. He will direct and star in the film.
A full-time actor in Los Angeles since 2002, McCullough has appeared in several films, plays, print advertisements and television commercials for major brands such as Jaguar, Ford, Budweiser and Goodyear, and has worked alongside actors such as Jennifer Lopez, Jim Carey, Steve Carell and Jamie Lee Curtis.
The Lyon College graduate will also soon appear in the new feature-length movie "Loaner," which is set for release later this year.
An open casting call for males and females ages 14 and older will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday (Sept. 27) at Thayer High School. No previous acting experience is required to audition, but those interested must bring proof of identification, and minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
