KASU to Broadcast Live Interviews w/Jonesboro Mayoral Hopefuls

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - KASU, the public broadcasting service of Arkansas State University, will broadcast live interviews with each of the four Jonesboro mayoral candidates next week.  Each interview will begin at 8:19 a.m., Monday through Thursday.

Each candidate will be given a list of potential topics open for discussion in the live interviews, but specific questions will be given to the candidates in advance.  The candidates will be allowed to address each predetermined topic or to be interviewed for a total of 20 minutes, whichever occurs first.

Harold Perrin will be interviewed on Monday (10/6); Alec Farmer on Tuesday (10/7), Felicia Parks on Wednesday (10/8), and Jason Willett on Thursday (10/9).

"Public affairs programming is something the KASU audience expects and deserves," according to station manager Mike Doyle.  "We're glad to broadcast these interviews with an outstanding array of candidates."

KASU can be found at 91.9 on the FM dial.
