West Memphis PD Searching for Shooting Suspect

WEST MEMPHIS, AR (KAIT) - The West Memphis Police Dept. is requesting the public's assistance in locating the suspect in a shooting incident that occured there on Sept. 19.  Police say 22-year-old Aramis Parker is wanted in connection with a shooting that occured at the West Memphis Auto Club at 111 North 10 Street.

On that date, the club had been rented for a private party, and investigation revealed that Parker and three victims were guests at the party when Parker approached the victims outside the building and produced a .12-guage shotgun, at which time the victims fled on foot.  Parker then allegedly fired four shots, seriously injuring one juvenile, and causing minor injuries to another.  One of the victims remains hospitalized due to his injuries.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Parker is encouraged to call Crittenden County Crimestoppers at 732-4444, or the West Memphis PD at 735-1210.

Parker is charged with one count of 1st Degree Battery and two counts of aggravated assault.
