New Federal Courthouse Dedicated in Cape Girardeau

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (AP) - Radio's Rush Limbaugh is among those on hand for the dedication of a new federal courthouse named for his grandfather.

A ceremony yesterday cut the ribbon for the 62 million-dollar Rush Hudson Limbaugh Sr. courthouse in southeast Missouri's Cape Girardeau. The courthouse actually opened in June after lengthy delays, mostly related to construction problems.

Conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh III was among several members of the Limbaugh family who attended. The family includes a long line of lawyers and judges.

Rush Limbaugh Sr. was known for a strong work ethic that kept him at his desk six days a week almost to the end of his life in 1996 - he died at age 104.
