Bring out the stamp. We have a pair to add to the pile tonight. Shon Locken and Scott Tyner are about to join the ranks of the stamped.
Locken was on Warrant Watch last week. He took care of his 13 warrants the next day.
Scott Tyner was wanted for forgery, theft and burglary. Almost two months after we ran him on Crimestoppers he gets stamped!
Tonight, no suspect faces to show you, just a vehicle. Take a look at this video, given to us from Thomas and Betts and JPD. We're looking at that SUV. JPD says it is pulling up along side that other SUV and breaking out the window. Nothing was stolen because the security guard drove by soon after. But JPD is concerned whoever broke out the window may do it to other vehicles in other lots around town.
I know there's a lot of them, but if you think you may know someone with a SUV like this that may have been involved in this September 29th crime.. Call Crimestoppers, 935-STOP. Your tips are anonymous.
On to Warrant Watch and ton o' warrants. Case in point. Leland Watkins. He starts it off with 17 non payment of fines. A pair of fail to appears three public service warrants and two more revocation of probation warrants. That's 24!
Shantell B. Wortham nearly equals that total. She has 23! 5 failure to appear. 1 contempt of court. 8 hot check warrants. And 9 non payment of fines warrants. Together, they add up to nearly 50 warrants.
If you know where police can find either Shantell Wortham or Leland Watkins, call Crimestoppers right now and get your tip number, 935-STOP. Then, keep watching each week for your suspect to get the stamp. When you see it, call or email Sgt. Steve McDaniel and tell him your tip number. He'll tell you if your tip is worth cash.
