Halloween Spending Means Big Profits For Retailers

JONESBORO (KAIT) It really depends on how much or how little you want to spend.

Some spend around 25 dollars, some spend into the hundreds, all of it means cash in retailers coffers.

As far as Halloween expenses go, check out the costumes. According to research consumers are expected to pay average of about 25 dollars or more on costumes.

I stopped by the Golden Grotto, the parking lot was packed, the costume section was packed and the lines were backed up. But there was no particular hot costume this year.

Larry Mcllroy the owner told me, "Just a wide selection, Everything under the sun. Whatever you want to be we got it. We got lots of it and we never run out.

According to the stats, Halloween remains the favorite of 18 - 24 year olds but the parents keep shelling it out for the younger kids as well.
