Bible-Writing Tour Visits Arkansas

Siloam Springs, AR (AP) - Arkansans have a chance to contribute to a cross-country promotional tour to write the Bible. The tour will stop at John Brown University in Siloam Springs on Wednesday.

The next day promoters will be at a Skia Store in Bentonville. People can stop by and hand write one verse of the Bible.

The entire handwritten Bible containing verses contributed by more than 31,000 people will be reproduced and published by Zondervan.

The tour commemorates the 30th anniversary of the New International Version of the Bible. It began September 30th in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where the publishing company is headquartered.

It is scheduled to end February 12th in San Diego, California at the National Pastor's Convention.
