Another Meth Lab Bust in Kennett

KENNETT, MO (KAIT) - The second meth lab bust this month in Kennett leaves two under arrest.

25-year-old Chad Lee Reed and 33-year-old Martha A. Reed were arrested Tuesday in connection with a methamphetamine bust at their home after police say they found bags of meth and other paraphernalia under a bed in a bedroom at their home.

Kennett Police along with the Bootheel Drug Task Force were sent to a home at 912 Whitney Street for a possible methamphetamine lab Tuesday evening around 5 p.m.

Chad and Martha Reed were jailed at the Dunklin County Justice Center and are being held on a $75,000 cash only bond. They will appear in court Friday morning at 9 a.m. Exact charges that the Reeds face are unknown, although police did say they believe the suspects were both using and selling drugs.
