Shoplifters Get Almost $1000 In Purses

Jonesboro--Let's head back to dillard's. And there are our suspects once again. The people running the cameras had a hunch they were up to no good and they were right. They cruise around the store for a while and then they start hanging out by the elevator. They don't get on. Then, when the coast is finally clear, she steps out looking around the whole time. She strolls up to the purses, very expensive "Ed Hardy" purses, and grabs a handfull of from one rack. Looks some more.  And grabs some from another rack. Then, she heads back behind the corner while he plays look-out.

At this point, police say while he's keeping an eye out, she's putting the purses in a large plastic Dillard's shopping bag. And just like that they walk right out the front door with over $950 worth of purses.

Take another look at the suspects. If you think you know either one of these people, it's worth cash. Make an anonymous tip, call Crimestoppers right now, 935-STOP.

On to Warrant Watch and our first "Raquel". 21-year-old Raquel S. Nelson is on JPD's list with good reason. Look at this. She has 30 warrants. I don't even know how that's possible. 13 non-payment of fines and 17 revocation of probation warrants.

That makes 31-year-old Timothy Peel look that much better. He only has half that many. He has nine non-payment of fines, three public service, and three contempt of court warrants out of JPD.

Look at them side by side. If you know Raquel Nelson or Timothy Peel it's worth money. Call Crimestoppers and get you tip number, 935-STOP. Then, keep watching each week for your suspect to get the stamp. When you see it, call or email Sgt. Steve McDaniel and tell him your tip number. He'll tell you if your tip is worth cash. And remember, when you see crime, call Crimestoppers, 935-STOP.
