2 more arrests made in heroin distribution case

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - JPD's PROWL unit arrest two additional people Tuesday night in connection with March 3rd's heroin distribution bust.

23-year-old Jeffrey E. Sutton and 22-year-old Matthew Stripling were arrested Tuesday, March 10. Sutton is charged with four counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Heroin), while Stripling is charged with three counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Heroin).

The original arrests in this case came March 3rd, when officers with the Second Judicial Drug Task Force, Craighead County Sheriff's Office and ASU Police Department executed a search warrant at 2628 Cherokee Drive, Apartment #4 on the ASU campus. Officers reportedly found heroin, LSD and numerous other items of drug paraphernalia.

ASU students Mark Inman and Laura Inman, residing in married student housing on the campus, were arrested. Mark Inman was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of a Controlled Substance without a Prescription. Laura Inman was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

During a Probable Cause and Bond Hearing following their arrests, Mark Inman was ordered held on the charges and given a $250,000 bond, while Laura Inman's bond was set at $50,000.
