Bitterly cold air will greet you at the doorstep early today. Be sure to watch those steps and sidewalks for slick spots. Also, don’t forget to clear the snow off the car before heading to work. Highs will struggle to reach 40 today and a steady easterly wind will make it feel a lot colder. We’ll warm up briefly, however, on Tuesday as high pressure shifts east. Another cold shot will arrive with a front Tuesday night into Wednesday. Rainfall totals could reach up to 1”. Lingering showers could change to snow with light accumulations possible. Arctic air is set to spill into Region 8 as we head into the weekend. We’re tracking a couple more shots of light wintry weather. Stay tuned.
